Creeper Chaos

For a safe house, stack obsidian blocks to a pillar size 3x3x7 and on top of the obsidian pillar make a comfortable house and don't forget to place a bridge that connects to the main building so you can escape.

A favorite strategy of the nobadguys team is to used when you first start the game and have default blocks only (wood, cobblestone etc.). Just grab some cobblestone and iron and surround yourself in a cocoon. Period. Yes, that's it. Creepers will then think the cocoon is just a random thing that some kind of noob made and abandoned.
